The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of the previous years.  The questions were framed in simple and clear language, devoid of any form of ambiguity while the  comprehensiveness of the marking schemes catered for the various categories of candidates that sat the examination.

The overall performance of candidates was poor compared to the previous years.
