The question was well attempted by the candidates and a good majority got it correctly. It is a question on involute of a circle and it required the candidates to
- draw the required circle;
- divide the circle into 8 or 12 equal parts;
- draw tangents from each point;
- mark out the points and join them with smooth curves.
