The candidates showed deficiency in the areas requiring:
- division of lines;
- inscribed, circumscribed and escribed figures;
- sectioning;
- pictorial drawings;
- freehand sketches;
- orthographic projections;
- true lengths and true shapes;
- developments of surfaces.
Candidates are advised to practice drawing very well and learn to use instruments correctly. Candidates can be encouraged too, by providing good teaching aids and good instructors.
