In this question, candidates were required to 

  1. List security risks in the catering industry.
  2. State responsibilities of an employer regarding safety of workers.
  3. List classes of fire.

Observation

Majority of candidates who attempted this question got it wrong. The candidates could not list the security risks in the industry. The expected answers are as follows:theft, burglary, terrorism, assault, robbery. Candidates could not answer correctly the responsibilities of an employer regarding safety of workers. The expected answers include: frequent maintenance of premises; provide equipment that are safe to health; issue a written statement of safety policy to employees. In questions 3 (c), candidates answered wrongly and scored low marks. The expected answers include: Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D, Class E, Class F/K.
