    2. Mention four sense organs in humans that could be negatively affected by the types of pollution mentioned in 1(a).                                                                          [4 marks]
    3. Suggest one solution to the problem caused by pollution in the area.          [1 mark]
    4. State three health implications of siting the industry in a residential area.  [3 marks]


 

Majority of the candidates performed well in parts (a) and (b) by mentioning correctly the types of pollution and the sense organs affected by the types of the pollution mentioned. However, majority of them were unable to mention the problems caused by pollution and their health implications as required in parts (c) and (d) of the question.
