The following are the weaknesses identified in candidates performance.

(i) Poor layout in some designs with their attendant unsuitable use of type face.
(ii) Neglect in the use of motif in repeat pattern for borders.
(ii) Poor letter constructions.
(iv) Substandard premiership and inappropriate finishing.
(v) Weak human figure drawing.
(vi) Improper use of tonal ranges and absence in some compositions.

In order to overcome the weaknesses identified above, candidates are advised to persistently practice drawing, designing, seeing properly; working with colours and self criticism.  In addition, candidates must prepare to learn from better art works.
