Few candidates were able to state the:
-           main reason why synthetic foam is used as a padding material in upholstery;
-           reasons for staining wood;
-           safety rules to be observed when carrying hand tools in the workshop;
-           testing tools used in woodwork;
-           main classifications of plastics;
-           difference between the two classes of plastics.

In addition, they have improved on choice of pencil and lettering style.
