Observation
This question was well attempted by the candidates. In 4(a), most of the candidates were unable to define the term brooding in poultry production. However, in 4(b-c), most of them were able to give the differences between non-ruminant and ruminant animals as well as state the reasons why culling would be carried out in livestock management. More so, majority of the candidates were able to list the diseases of cattle as well as state the ways of maintaining ornamental plants as required in 4(d-e).

It is the management of day old chicks naturally or artificially till they are about six
weeks old
OR
It involves the natural or artificial provision of heat and other necessary care to
