Weakness and Remedies

Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in their inability to:
-           explain the flash point of fuel;
-           define octane rating and cetane value;
-           state the properties of the fuel used in an internal combustion engine;
-           answer questions requiring calculations.

(2)       SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING WEAKNESSES

Candidates were advised to study seriously before sitting for the examination.  They were also advised to familiarize themselves with questions requiring calculations.
