               It increases the velocity of air intake.
        (ii)  Petrol Jet
               It atomizes fuel into the air stream to form a mixture. 
       (iii)  Needle Valve
               -  It regulates the flow of fuel into the carburetor. 
               -  It prevents the carburettor from flooding.
