General Comments

The standard of the paper was good and compared favourably with those of previous years. The marking scheme was fair to the candidates and of good quality.

The performance of candidates this year, with a raw mean score of 14 and standard deviation of 08.00 was poorer than that of last year with a raw mean score of 25 and standard deviation of 09.33 for WASSCE (PC1) 2019. The total number of candidates that sat the examination was 9,079.
