Majority of them failed to:

The expected response to question 4 is as given below:
4. (a) & (b) Earthwork Support in a moderately firm soil
(c) The method of transporting fresh concrete with a wheel barrow
(i) Lay boards on planks along the path of the barrow from the place of mixing to the point of placing.
(ii) Wet the internal surfaces of the wheel barrow with water.
- Fill the wheel barrow with the concrete.
- Wheel the concrete over the boards.
- Ensure that the chute is wetted before pouring concrete.
- Deposit the concrete into the chute.
- Shovel the concrete into the foundation trench.
