(a) Relate Luke’s account of Jesus appearance to the men going to Emmaus.
(b) State two lessons that can be derived from this encounter.
(a) Summarise Jesus’ teaching about himself as the resurrection and the life.
(b) Give two assurances Christians have in Christ as the resurrection and the life.
OBSERVATIONS
Very few candidates attempted this question and majority of them performed below average. Their answers were not detailed enough and they failed to mention the object of discussion of the two men. They only wrote that Jesus joined them; but failed to state how Jesus pretended not to know the events of the time; the account of the death and resurrection of Jesus. All these made them to lose valuable marks.
