General Comments
The standard of the paper was high, and compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were within the scope of the exam syllabus. It was reported that the rubrics were clear and unambiguous, such that the responses of candidates correspond with the expected answers. The marking scheme was detailed, comprehensive, clear and fair to all candidates.
The raw mean score of 43.0 and standard deviation of 15.36 indicated that the performance of the candidates was better than WASSCE May/June 2015, with a raw mean score of 36.0 and standard deviation of 15.62. 667,412 candidates sat the paper.
