General Comments

The standard of the paper was high and compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were within the scope of the examination syllabus. The marking scheme was detailed and captured the expected responses of candidates.        

The raw mean score of 27.0 and standard deviation of 15.39 indicated that the performance of candidates was better than WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2021 with a raw mean score of 24.0 and standard deviation of 16.09. A total 0f 40,462 candidates sat the paper.
