Candidates' Weakness

In Clothing & Textiles, candidates could not express themselves in simple and clear languages; they could not explain the functions of simple sewing tools such as emery bag and millinery needle. Many of them could not list types of scissors; explain the effects of clothing on personality and could not draw any diagram correctly.
In Foods & Nutrition, candidates’ major weakness was their inability to interpret and answer questions correctly. They lacked knowledge of the technicality of the subject, the candidates were unable to give correct definition of foods packaging and did not know correct name for packaging materials.
In Home Management, candidates’ were unable to give differences between soaps and detergents, how adolescents can get out of the problems of status, the table manners that should be observed at meal time, definition of pollution and consequences of water pollution, methods of water purification, materials used in making kitchen utensils, importance of good posture and effects of fatigue in the body.
