Observation
Most candidates who attempted could not relate consular invoice with foreign trade. They explained proformar invoice just like a normal invoice.

- Proforma invoice: It is an invoice used to request payment from a buyer before the goods are supplied.
Uses of proforma invoice
- It is used as a polite way of refusing credit.
- It is used when a trader is dealing with the customer for the first time.
- It is used as a quotation to indicate selling terms.
- It is used when goods are sent on sale or return basis.
