Question 3(c) requested that candidates should (i) state reason why some women would prefer the hairstyle in diagram B, (ii) state reason why some women would prefer the hairstyle in diagram A. The candidates answered correctly.

In this question, candidates were required to (a) identify the style of hair illustrated in diagrams A and B (ii) state the differences between the hairstyles in diagrams A and B.

The (b) part of the question was on ways of maintaining the hairstyle illustrated in diagram A, (ii) was on the steps taken to achieve the hairstyle in diagram B and (iii) was on tools and supplies that could be used to achieve diagram B. Majority of the candidates answered these correctly while some candidates wrote ‘weave-on’ instead of hairstyles.  

Question 3(c) requested that candidates should (i) state reason why some women would prefer the hairstyle in diagram B, (ii) state reason why some women would prefer the hairstyle in diagram A. The candidates answered correctly.
