Observation

This is a summary passage and it tests candidates’ ability to read for main ideas in a given passage. The candidates are required to be precise in their responses. They are also not expected to copy copiously from the passage. In their effort to avoid lifting, they used words that negate what they wanted to say. This accounted for the poor performance of candidates in this section.
Aside this, some candidates lumped two or more scoring points in one sentence.
