General Comments

 

There was an improvement on the standard of the paper. It was reported that the paper compared favourably with those of the previous years. The rubrics were clear and unambiguous. The marking scheme was clear and adequate.

The raw mean score of 27 and standard deviation of 14.46 indicated that the performance of the candidates was worse than WASSCE school candidates 2016, with a mean score of 28 and standard deviation of 12.65. 80,071 candidates sat the paper.
