General Comments

The standard of the paper was high, and compares favourably with previous years. The rubrics were clear and unambiguous. The questions were within the scope of the examination syllabus.

The raw mean score of 26.0 and standard deviation of 10.20 showed that the performance of the candidates was better than WASSCE for School Candidates 2018, with a raw mean score of 24.0 and standard deviation of 8.60. A total of 56,042 candidates sat the paper.
