General Comments
The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straight forward and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive, flexible and the rubrics were clear.
The performance of the candidates was worse than the previous year with a population of 45,435 and a raw mean score of 28.0 and standard deviation of 09.95 against the WASSCE for School Candidates 2022 which had candidates population of 46,419 with a raw mean score of 29.0 and standard deviation of 08.43.
