OBSERVATION

Generally, candidates’ performance on this question was not excellent. Many candidates were able to differentiate between shopping list and price list by stating that shopping list is a document /piece of paper made by a consumer that consists of items to be bought during shopping while a price list is a tag placed on items being sold or displayed in a shop. However, candidates did not respond to question 4 (b) very well. They displayed their lack of knowledge by providing a myriad of wrong answers such as giving the characteristics of adulterated foods as adult foods, foods that committed adultery, and rated food.
