Weakness and Remedies

 

Candidates showed weaknesses in the following areas:

1. freehand sketch;
2. interpreting working drawing;
3. names of appropriate joints for the given article;
4. accuracy and proportionality in drawing.

 

SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES

Candidates are hereby advised to work harder to improve on their weak areas.  Schools should also employ more teachers who can handle the trade and also provide adequate facilities and equipment for effective teaching and learning.  Finally candidates should read and understand the instructions before attempting any questions.
