This was not a popular question and many of the candidates who answered it performed below average. They did not understand the question and therefore found it difficult to provide the right answers to it. The candidates were expected to give the following points as their answers.

(i) Ward branches- smallest unit of the party structure- official chairman, secretary and treasurer;

(ii) Local government branches.; Constituency branches- including a chairman, organizing secretary, treasurer, etc;

(iii) Regional/State branches- coordinate the activities of all constituency branches;

(iv) National conference-responsible for the National delegates conference.
