Observation
The question is on written prose. Candidates were required to mention the name of the speaker of the quoted statements above in (9a), state the name of the person to whom the statement was made, in (9b) and mention the factors that brought about the statement in (9c). Most of the candidates that attempted the question did not study the text hence; they merely answered the question by general guesses.
