General Comments
The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straight forward and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible.
The performance of the candidates was better than the previous year with candidates population of 14,337 which had a raw mean score of 41 and standard deviation of 10.91 against the WASSCE for the School Candidates 2017 which a candidates population of 14,254 with a raw mean score of 32 and standard deviation of 11.66.
