    The diagram below illustrates an organ in humans. Study it and answer questions 2(a) and (b).

    (a) (i) Name the parts labeled I,II,III,IV and V. [5 marks]
    (ii)  Name the organ illustrated. [1 mark]
    (b)  (i) Mention two defects of the organ   [2 marks]
    (ii)   State two ways of caring for the organ  [2 marks]

Observation

 

Many candidates attempted this question and their performance was above average.  Many candidates could name the labeled parts and identify the illustrated organ as required in Question 2(a)(i) and (ii). Candidates were also mention eye defects and ways of caring for the eye as required in Question 2(b)(i) and (ii). However many candidates lost vital marks to spelling errors.
