In question 5a, candidates were required to state ways of caring for glassware. The question was well attempted as majority of the candidates answered it correctly. The (b) part was on method of water purification. The candidates wrote adding of alum instead of boiling and filtration. The(c) part of the question was on materials used in making kitchen utensil. They wrote on types of kitchen utensil such as frying pan, pots instead of wood, clay and metals therefore their performance was poor. The candidates mixed up the materials for types of kitchen utensils.
