Observation

 

     Candidates' were requested to

(a)Identify the household equipment labeled I, II and III.

(b)State each the uses of the household equipment labeled I, II and III

(c)Write ways of caring for the household equipment a labelled I.

(d)Outline the guidelines for choosing the household equipment in the diagram labeled II.

Candidates’ were able to answer the questions correctly and it was one of their strength, but the  ‘d’ part of the question posed some difficulties as majority of the candidates’ was unable to outline  the guideline for choosing the household equipment correctly e.g.  The mop head should be made of soft absorbent material; the length of the handle should be suitable for worker and work; The mop head should be removable to allow for laundering; The mop head and handle should be well constructed for durability.
