A.        Candidates were asked to write on the advantages of parents joining hands together to train their children. The important points required were: it will help the children to be industrious, behave well in the community, it will bring happiness in the family and the children will know their parents well and have good foundation in life.
Many candidates attempted this question but could not mention these points as some wrote out of point. Just few got their points in order though not up to the required length.
B.        Candidates were expected to write as a youth leader, the advice they will give their fellow youths in their gathering on the disadvantages of dressing in an indecent manner. Very few candidates got it right. Other candidates that attempted were unable to write the points which include: it leads to lust, disregard and learning of bad characters. They also did not follow the right procedure of writing a speech. 
C.        Candidates were expected to write in a dialogue form, the discussion Ada and Chika had concerning their childless condition in their husbands’ houses. They were expected to mention their experiences which include the treatments from their husbands, family members, their efforts to get solution and their resolutions.
Many candidates did not go for this question but the few that attempted it, did justice to it.

D.        Candidates were required to write in a debate form on being a politician or a non- politician. Very few candidates were able to answer this well.
E.         Candidates were asked to write a formal letter to the state governor reporting the menace of kidnappers and ways of solving it. Few candidates answered this question well using the correct format. Many could not follow the rules of formal letter.
