Observation

(a) An explanation of the syllable was required of the candidates. Some of them mistook it for ‘nkebiokwu’ (phrase) while few got it right.

(b) Candidates were required to write out different words with different number of syllables (2 – 6 syllables). They all made good attempts.

(c) Here, they were to state two benefits of syllables in Igbo Language. Majority fumbled while only few got the answer.
