Observation
This question is on oral prose. Candidates were asked to state three things the native doctor told the owner of the garden in the story of the “Antelope and his wife”, three things the Antelope told his wife and what the Antelope exclaimed when he saw his wife’s dead body.
The expected answers were:
(a) i. ọ gwara ya na ọ bụ otu anụ ọhịa na nwunye ya na-abịa akpa mkpamkpa
ahụ n’ubi ya.
ii. ọ gwara ya ka ọ gaa gbaa ubi ahụ ogige gburugburu.
iii. ọ gwara ya k o tinye naanị otu oghere n’out akụkụ ebe anụ ọhịa ahụ
nwere ike isi piobata.
iv. ọ gwara ya ka o tinye ọnụ ụzọ a na-emeghe emeghe ma na-emechikwa
emechi.
(b) i. Ele gwara nwunye ya ka ha laa.
ii. Ele gwara nwunye ya ka o kee nkwụcha n’ihi na ọ bụ naanị otu oghere ka
ha nwere ike isi laa ma ihe ọsọ mee.
iii. ọ gwara ya sị na ha tatụ, ka ha gaa lee ma afọ ha ọ ga-ekwekwa gafee
ngwa ngwa n’oghere ahụ ma ihe ọsọ mee.
iv. ọ gwara nwunye ya ka ha gaa lee oghere ahụ ha siri piobata.
(c) “Afọ ekweghị ụkwụ zuru ike”.
(d) - Ihe na-atọ ụtọ na-egbu egbu.
- Anyaukwu adịghị mma.
- Mkpọchi ntị adịghị mma.
- Izu ohi adịgị mma.
