Observation

Candidates were requested to state Akụbụzọ’s statement when he learnt that people did not believe he could sponsor his overseas studies; why Akụbụzọ prevented his servants from entering his room, the sufferings Akụbụzọ recollected he passed through in the bid of saving money and the proverbs Akụbụzọ summed up after thinking of what happened to his money.

The answers expected were:
(a) ọ sịrị, “ọ bụghị ego ole mmadụ na-enwe n’ọnwa ka mkpa, kama ọ bụ ole ọ na-edowe.

(b) ọ bụ ka mmadụ ghara ịlụ igbe ego o zoro n’okpuru akwa ndịna ya.

(c) - O chetara etu o siri rụgbue onwe ya n’ọrụ.
- O chetara etu o siri buo ọnụ.
- O chetara etu o siri mụọ anya eche akụ na ụba ya.
- O chetara etu o siri kote okwu na ụka nke mere ka ndị nkuzi ya n’Abangwu kpọọ ya asị, tiekwa ya ihe.
O chetara etu ụmụ odibo siri gbaara ya ọsọ n’ihi agụụ, ọrụ na ọchịchị aka
ike.
O chetara etu o siri yie naanị otu akwa ka ya nwee ike debe ego ga-ezuru ya agụmakwụkwọ.

(d) - Ewu ataa m igu n’isi
- A kwọọ m aka ga-eji eri ọna, ọna tasịa nchara.
- Kama dibịa ga-eri arịrị, ya were ụkwụ sowe ndị mmụọ na ndụ.

The performance of the candidates was not encouraging.
