Observation

The question required the candidates to comment on the first three verses of Sūratul- Fātiḥah, after the Basmalah. Some of the candidates who attempted this question only gave the translated meanings of these verses without comments. The candidates would have recorded a better performance if mention had been made of points such as the essence of showing gratitude to God, God is the Creator of Heaven and the Earth including their contents and exceptional glory is due to Him.  Summarily, candidates performance in the question was not bad.
