Observation
Hadith 13 of an-Nawawi collection provided the Candidates opportunities to answer it as one of the popular question. All the areas of expectations i.e. Arabic text, transliteration and its translation in English accorded the candidates better opportunity to perform significantly well. Majority of the candidates performed very well. Candidates were expected to mention the following points:
Transliteration
An Anasi b. Mālikin,khādimi rasūlillahi ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallama, ‘anin-Nabiyyi,ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallama qāl: “Lā yu’minu aḥadukum ḥattā yuḥibba li akḥīḥ mā yuḥibbu linafsihi”.
(Rawāhu al-Bukhārī wa Muslim).
Translation
On the authority of Anas b. Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “None of you (really) believes (in God and His religion) till he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself”.
