OBSERVATION
Pokuwaa’s mother has motherly love for her daughter. She is the store house of knowledge of the custom of the people of Brehoma. She is also an observer and respecter of the tradition. She desires that Pokuwaa should have children so that she would have grandchildren before dying. She reveals the taboo about the Ananse River; she continues the sacrifices even when Pokuwaa loses fate in Tano.
