- A bird perches on the top of a slanted tree of length 12.8 m. If the bird is 10 m vertically above the ground,
 
(i) illustrate the information in a  diagram;
      (ii) find, correct to the nearest degree, the angle of depression  of the foot of the tree
      from the bird

Observation
The Chief Examiner reported that some of the candidates who  attempted part (a) of this question did not quite understand the question as a  result could not draw the correct diagram. The part (b) of this question was  also not well attempted as some candidates could not interpret the idea at most  7 marks.
