Candidates’ performance was average in this question, despite its popularity among the candidates. They were unable to identify correctly the hexachord of a recorder thereby losing enormous marks. They were expected to respond to the question thus:
(a) Soprano Sax in B flat, Alto Sax in E flat, Tenor Sax in B flat, Baritone Sax in E flat.
(b) Charlie Parker, John Contrane, Femi Kuti, Dave Koz, Grover Washington.
(c) Hexachord of a Recorder: D E F G A B
