In part (b )(i) majority of the candidates mentioned events that involve the use of crouch start, in
part (b)(ii) candidates stated the starter's command for a 200m race. In part (c)(i) candidates listed
materials needed for officiating in both discus and shot put events in athletics, in part (c )(ii)
candidates successfully mentioned functions of a field referee in athletics.
