The candidates weaknesses include their inability to:
- mention actions between the take off and landing in triple jump event in athletics;
- give instances when a referee blows the whistle in a handball game;
- explain the terms as used in the game of basketball, liveball and ball out of bounds;
- state four duties of the scorer in a volleyball match;
- explain terms as used in the game of hockey;
- mention skills in table tennis game;
- state differences between table tennis game and tennis game;
- explain the terms used in badminton game; setting the game and net;
- state rules guiding a rally in a game of tennis;
- draw correctly a tennis court and indicate the following areas on the diagram: left service court, back court and alley;
- state service rules in badminton game;
- outline the procedure for performing handspring in gymnastics;
- outline the procedure for performing a cartwheel in gymnastics;
- outline the procedure for performing headstand in gymnastics.

Candidates should:
- be exposed to participate in all games in the syllabus to learn the skills;
- be familiar with the syllabus to know what is required of them;
- be invovled in practical demonstration themselves to learn skills in games and gymnastics activities.
