This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was fair. In part (a) many candidates correctly defined somatotype with examples of somatotype although,a few candidates wrote wrong answers that somatotype is the grouping of people in various areas of their cultural background instead of classification of human body according to size and shape/physical features . In part (b) few candidates correctly mentioned recreational activities in which the aged could be engaged while many candidates wrote the conventional recreational activities such as mountaineering, cycling, swimming, playing ball game, e.g football volleyball and tennis, running (marathon race), boxing and jumping for aged activities.
In part (c) many candidates performed poorly by writing wrong answers about the effect of alcohol such as affects rate of excretion, affects beating of heart, slows down breathing, leads to mental illness, lead to death and cause poverty in the family as effects of alcohol on the athlete.
