General Comments
The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straight forward and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible.
The performance of the candidates was slightly poorer than the previous year with candidates population of 7,139 which had a raw mean score of 22 and standard deviation of 09.43 against the WASSCE for School Candidates 2017 which had a candidates population of 6,372 with a raw mean score of 23 and standard deviation of 08.77.
