Observation

This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was fairly good. In part (a)(i) they did fairly well in it. In part (a)(ii) majority candidates did well by mentioning examples of international sports competitions. In part (b) many candidates could not state correctly objectives of modern Olympics Games.
The expected answers are as follow:

4(a)(i) SPORTS COMPETITION
Contest between two or more teams/players for a particular honour/prize in which a winner must emerge/explained.

-           develop friendship and socialization
