General Comments

The standard of the paper was high, and compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were within the scope of the examination syllabus. It was reported that candidates’ performance was not satisfactory as majority of them performed below average.

The raw mean score of 24.0 and standard deviation of 13.67 indicated that the performance of the Second series candidates was worse than WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2019, with a raw mean score of 33.0 and standard deviation of 15.03. A total of 482 candidates sat for the paper.
