Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in their inability to:

• make accurate bends on pipe;
• avoid cracks while bending.

SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING WEAKNESSES
In order to overcome the weaknesses highlighted above, it was suggested that there is need for adequate provision of practical materials and competent technical teachers for the subject. Candidates should be exposed to several practical tests before the examinations.
