CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES
Some of the weaknesses observed in the candidates‘scripts were:
- Insufficient knowledge of the subject matter as the candidates could not satisfactorily attempt some questions.
- Some candidates were unable to maximize the spaces provided in answering each question.
- Some candidates misinterpreted questions and commands. They found it difficult to distinguish between “State” and “List”.
SUGGESTED REMEDIES
- Candidates should study standard text books on salesmanship, Marketing and others as recommended in preparing for the examination.
- Students should be exposed to new WAEC answer scripts by their teachers so as to maximize spaces provide for each question.
- Teacher should expose students to the expectations of different question commands.
