Observation
Almost all candidates attempted this question and the performance was very encouraging. However the some candidates could not explain the function of a store keeper as it relates to store requisitioning.

Functions of a storekeeper as it relates to:
- Counting and grading: It is the duty of the storekeeper to count items received into the store and also sort them in terms of their quality, size, nature and other features.
- Weighting and classification: It is the duty of the storekeeper to measure the weight of goods and ensures that they are arranged in accordance to their distinguishing features.
- Maintaining clean store environment: the storekeeper ensures that the store is kept tidy and neat. He ensures that the store environment is well taken care of.
- Store requisitioning: the storekeeper ensures that requests for items from the store are backed with a requisition note that are properly completed and duly authorized before these items are issued. He also sends requisition order to notify purchasing department for items that need to be replenished in the store.
- Receipt of goods: he takes delivery of goods supplied or returned by other departments to the store. He inspects the material before raising goods receipt note.
