Candidates' Weakness
Candidates were reported to have shown some weaknesses in the following areas:
(1) interpenetration of solids;
(2) development;
(3) linkwork mechanism;
(4) true shape of cut surfaces;
(5) similar areas;
(6) enlargement of figures;
(7) adherence to instruction.
SUGGESTED REMEDY FOR OVERCOMING WEAKNESSES
(1) Effort should be made by government and private school owners to employ more teachers who are capable of teaching the subject.
(2) Adequate drawing studios and equipments should be provided in schools.
(3) Teachers should endeavour to expose the candidates adequately.
(4) Candidates are advised to practice regularly and prepare adequately for the examination.
