- Pupils are not indicated in Ife art, while in Benin it is indicated.
- Ife uses holes to represent the moustache, while most Benin art show/include moustache.
- Ife uses beads as mere necklaces, while Benin uses beads for body decoration.
- Ife head carries crest/cap, while Benin head carries a crown.
- Benin heads have mark on the forehead, while some of the Ife heads are
scarified.
